Today was day two for Buckley and Kelly Brown along with Joe and Sherry Mitchell hailing from Kentucky chasing redfish in the Delacroix marsh. What a difference a day makes the Kentucky crew and I were greeted with a 20degree temp drop and 25-30+ MPH winds out of the North. Buckley,Kelly,Joe and Sherry were early to the dock but no mosquitoes were there to swat! We left the dock and made a short run to duck into some smaller protected ponds to hunt down their limit. We made a move after the first 3 went in the box and put their limit in the box by noon. Final tally 20 Reds and a lot of wind burned faces. A great group of hardcore, dedicated fishermen who stuck it out in very nasty weather to get it done! I look forward to the next trip with them, it was a great two days.
