Got a chance to do a little shakedown cruise on some of our tournament rigs today. The Daiwa Luvias LT4000D reel paired with a Kage KAG721MHFS rod and the Ballistic LT4000D-C reel paired with a Tatula TTU721MHFS rod were up to bat as we went to work on some Delacroix red fish this morning. Scary light and amazingly strong came to mind handling both setups. Buttery smooth cast and retrieves were the order of the day until a fish was on the line. At that point the backbone in both rods was easily up to the task and then some as both setups boat flipped fish with ease. Plenty of tip in either rod to launch baits a mile while maintaining an insane amount of sensitivity are what they bring to the table. In short, if you are after a premium spinning set up for targeting tournament level red fish, give both of these combinations serious consideration!
The crew at B&B can get you squared away with all of the gear mentioned!
