Today we had Brad Johnson aboard the Majek for his first redfish trip ever! He found us on the internet yesterday and called about a trip for today. We headed to the first spot in light fog and jacket weather. The bite was instant and rabid for the first hour ( he boated 31 in the first hour). The bite slowed at the first stop so we made a move looking for bigger fish and managed 2 bulls over 28 and a “unicorn”…the elusive flounder made its way into the box. We called it a day after landing 50. Brad kept 5 to eat plus the flatfish and we called it day. Note the glove on his hand in the pics….he had a blister after the first 31. Super fun guy to have on the boat and a real pleasure to fish with. Hope to see him back again soon.
